(APP) has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the medical, industrial and defense industries. Our proprietary technologies, ProtoMIM® and Printalloy® position APP as the first choice for some of the largest original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the country. Job Characteristics:

  • Position centers around developing new ideas, systems and technology, along with analyzing and improving on old ones
  • High aptitude for robotics, conveyance, feed systems and automation devices
  • Mechanical aptitude required with ability to program robotics and/or vision systems

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
  • Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities
  • Design, build and maintain automation equipment in facility to support manufacturing
  • Develop maintenance procedures for automation
  • Create and maintain all training and work instructions for equipment in area of responsibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, electromechanical preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing setting
  • PLC and robotics training
  • Vision system training is a plus
