(APP) has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the military and defense, medical, industrial and defense industries. We design, engineer and produce metal components that improve the performance of our clients’ medical devices, hand tools, military and defense, and sporting goods.

Job Characteristics:

  • Focused on efficient, accurate, quality work output in process area
  • Job requires close control of process, tasks, and results
  • Must provide clear instructions and guidance in the coordination of multi-disciplinary activities
  • Must delegate tasks and closely measure and monitor results while retaining accountability
  • Must be able to do multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks
  • Continual problem/solution identification required
  • Fast-paced environment; decisions must be made quickly and firmly, within the defined scope of job authority and based on job expertise
  • Must work within established systems, standards, and procedures
  • Fact-based, solution oriented

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing operator who has responsibility for process area operation
  • Support all activities of the Manufacturing supervisor and management team
  • Organize and oversee process area
  • Foster teamwork and assign tasks to complete area requirements
  • Estimate or predict output required to meet the production plan
  • Responsible for training new employees.
  • Responsible for assistance in creation of new and updating of current work instructions
  • Measure products using calipers, microscopes, etc. to ensure quality production
  • Inform managers of quality issues that arise
  • Insure work areas are clean and organized daily
  • Operate manufacturing equipment when needed
  • Support engineering and special manufacturing activities
  • Prepare shift summaries as requested

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, 2 years manufacturing experience
  • General mechanical aptitude
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Orderly and responsible with tools and work area
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Must be safety conscious
