Staff Accountant

Job Description Application

General Summary:

Provide highly efficient and organized support to management and accounting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties include general accounting, data-entry, generating reports, and business to business customer care. Candidate must project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.


Education and/or Experience:

  • 4-year degree in accounting, finance or equivalent in experience
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Driver’s license required
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience in manufacturing ERP system preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to seamlessly work across groups and at all levels
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial reports and records
  • Prepare journal entries, analyses, and reconciliations to support month close processes
  • Maintain and compile information into reports as well as generating, analyzing and distributing weekly, monthly and yearly reports as assigned
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for accounting transactions and reconciliations
  • Meet processing and reporting deadlines
  • Coordinate inventory audits
  • Data entry as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
