Advanced Powder Products, Inc. (APP) is hiring a Business Manager to join our rapidly growing technology company. For over two decades, APP has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the firearms, medical, industrial and defense industries. Our proprietary technologies, ProtoMIM® and Printalloy® position APP as the first choice for some of the largest Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in the country. We design, engineer and produce metal components that improve the performance of our clients’ medical devices, hand tools, firearms, and sporting goods.

Job Summary:

The Business Manager is a member of the APP leadership team. Their primary responsibility will be driving new initiatives and business strategy. The Business Manager will also be responsible for leading and holding the appropriate employees accountable for achieving goals in recruiting, compliance, company culture, and training.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish, communicate, and implement ideas and strategy that effectively support the company's mission and vision.
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the leadership team regarding key organizational plans and ideas.
  • Work with the company's leadership team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Counsel management by providing advice on managing employees. Cultivate and maintain APP culture within a fast-growing organization.
  • Research, develop, update the organization’s policies and guidelines.
  • Develop HR strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing career development, performance management, payroll processing, succession planning, risk management and safety, retention, training, events planning, policy making, compliance, compensation, and benefits.
  • Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in business administration, human resources, or another related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of business management or human resources experience, with at least five years of leadership experience.
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SPHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
